During the post -war era women were able to look perfectly groomed and chic with nipped in waists, hats, always gloves, handbags and costume jewellery.
Key points of this fashion period are now back in style and many fashion designers are taking up elements of this post-war glamour such as Alexander McQueen, Helmut Lang, Narciso Rodriguez, Prada and Roland Mouret.
It is no wonder that original 40s fashion is selling so well at our Vintage Fairs. You can find an authentic 1940s dress, jacket, handbag or hat at a fraction of the cost of a designer piece.

Busy bustling fair with something for everyone.

Last Sunday proved to be another very successful fair at Cecil Sharp House both for buyers and sellers. The two halls were full to capacity with collections of fabulous vintage fashion and accessories and judging from the feed back we got a good time was had by all!
There was a big selection of inspiring, classic, wearable, quirky, fun and collectible fashion as well as some real bargains for those who wanted more dash for less cash!

A wonderful Vintage Fashion Fair

Its going to be a wonderful fair this Sunday – all the new stallholders who were at our last fair will be here together with some very interesting new sellers, and of course our regulars with their amazing collections of spring stock.
This month in our downstairs hall Debbie and Micky and Jan and Keith are back selling their fantastic 40/50′s stock. Also here and new to the fair are April and Andy with a huge vintage selection and Lorraine with her chic vintage spectacles and sunglasses.
This hall as always will be buzzing – a real party atmosphere.
Please bear in mind that only cash and cheques are accepted for payments of goods. There are no card facilities at the fair. So please come prepared…….. thanks.
