Vintage Fashion seen at the Fashion Fair

Jessica has a unique style, mixing contemporary with vintage.

Jessica de Lotz (pictured here) is an avid collector of all things vintage. Her style is totally her own, a vintage and eclectic mix with occasionally a new piece, but predominately vintage and always eye-catching.

Jessica is a jewellery graduate from Central St Martins (2008) and winner of ‘Coutts New Jewellers Award’ (2009). Her jewellery collection reflects on the ’social lives’ of objects and the history of their owners. Her collection embodies the concept of time, concealment and heritage.

If you would like to take a look at her work, if you like great style, be it vintage or contemporary you are sure to find it interesting and inspiring – click here to visit her site…

We’d also like to extend a big thank you to Jessica for giving up her time to model some of the vintage fashion featured on these pages. We think she has done really well, considering she is not a professional model!

Recent Fashion Fair a great success…

Monday, January 18th, 2010

The vintage fashion fair went really well last Sunday with just over 400 visitors and Cecil Sharp House was buzzing. As it was our first fair since November shoppers were eager to cheer themselves up with some vintage magic and by all accounts they did!
There were fantastic vintage pieces to be had – a wonderful 40’s handbag in the shape of a house with the roof lifting off to open it!  A new stallholder Chelsea sold several of her fur coats to people expecting another snowfall. And Jean D, one of our regular exhibitors had a selection of skirts and tops made with the prettiest vintage lace. Not to mention a few designer labels and clothes from a broad mix of era’s from Victorian through to the sixties, seventies and eighties!
Jess and Hadley (who are modelling on the website) were into serious shopping, both looking gorgeous in vintage mixtures.
Our 60’s music kept the tempo and temperatures up.’
